Cookie policy

Which cookies and local storage this website uses, and why.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

1. The principle

Before you make a choice, we place no analytics or advertising cookies. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel are loaded only after you click 'Accept'. If you decline, or make no choice at all, they stay off.

2. Necessary storage

These values are always present in your browser and are needed for the site to work. None of them tracks you and none is shared with anybody else. Two of them never leave your browser. The language cookie travels with each request, because the page has to be built in your language before it reaches you, and your cookie choice is also written to our own server, so that we can show what was agreed and when.

3. Analytics and advertising — only with consent

Loaded through Google Tag Manager once you accept. Tag Manager sets no cookies of its own; it loads the ones below.

Google and Meta may also read cookies set on their own domains if you are signed in to them; their own policies describe those. Declining here means we never load their tags, so none of this is set.

4. Changing your choice

The 'Cookie preferences' button at the bottom of this page clears your choice and asks again. Withdrawing is as easy as consenting.

Necessary

Set without asking, because the site cannot work without them. None of them tracks you.
